What items can I salary package?

Can I salary package more than one item?

Yes, apart from laptops. At law only one laptop can be salary packaged in any given FBT year. There are no restrictions on the number of other items you are permitted to salary package but you must first check your Employer’s policies for specific rules and guidelines.


Is it a legal obligation for my Employer to allow salary packaging?

No. It is up to each company to decide whether it wishes to offer its employees the added benefits of salary packaging. Most employers look to offer their staff best practice employment conditions with the majority of reputable businesses already running salary packaging programs for vehicles.
